Is Michael Jackson’s death the open-and-shut case they’ve made it out to be? Looking into all the available evidence, evidence which was not shown to the public, the answer is a definite NO. In the US, the media is a major information dispensary. With the control of information you can withhold, mold, add to, or subtract information for your own purposes; which will be accomplished when that information is or is not processed by the watcher/listener. The control of information/data is the key.

FYI: You brain is a computer.

When it comes to who’s guilty, who’s innocent; who’s good, who’s bad, without certain information (evidence), the person/people deciding on the case –which can be a whole country, individual, or judge and jury– can only come to certain conclusions. This is known by everyone who keeps/controls information (the secret has been out for centuries), especially those who control American’s sources/dispensaries of information, but not known by a large percentage of those who consume/process that information – Americans.

Go ahead and look for the following information to be mentioned and/or debated on Television or some other form of media (even though if it were, the statements and debate would be controlled). With this information, I am only trying to shine light on others who should be prime suspects, I’m not trying to prove their guilt.

You be the judge and jury; no one else, not your friends, family, media, government, or me. Go through the evidence presented here and decide for yourself if the same conditions required for you to be investigated, arrested and charged are present (If this much evidence was against you, would you be charged?). Decide for yourself if key evidence was withheld from the public, taking away their ability to come to any conclusion but the one offered by the media. Decide for yourself if there was a conspiracy (a secret plan or agreement to carry out an illegal or harmful act).

Immediately after his death, I think it was the TV show “Extra,” or one similar, said how coming up next they were going to talk about Michael blah, blah, blah, and they were going to talk about the rare skin condition he had which turned his skin white. My response was “What!” And that’s because since I can remember, ALL those shows, and pretty much all the media, never said he had vitaligo; and always made it seem like Michael was lying. Always.

Think back to the Martin Bashir documentary “Living With Michael Jackson” http://topdocumentaryfilms.com/living-with-michael-jackson/.
This “documentary” made Michael, and his family, look horrible. Soon after it aired, MJ and his people released a documentary, which aired on TV, showing footage that had been cut out of the Martin Bashir interview: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oN1lOBLaEKE

Their footage showed beyond a shadow of a doubt that the Martin Bashir “documentary” was edited in order to be misleading (in order to lie/deceive). This footage showed Martin Bashir was a dishonest snake. It proved that Michael and his family were purposely made to look horrible. The difference was like night and day. I couldn’t believe what I was seeing.

But what happened in America, that is, how did it effect the majority of American people, the media, and the government? There was complete silence! Not a thing was said by anyone! Not one discussion! It was as if it wasn’t even shown! Both documentaries were on network TV, and MJ’s documentary was hosted by Maury Povich. At least a few thousand people had to have seen it. Most of the news media had to have known about it. And still, nothing. Absolutely nothing! So, what does that say about the news media’s policy toward Michael?

Soon after this, what became of Martin Bashir? He got hired to MSNBC … to be on camera! He showed his face! They showed his face! That in itself says a lot. That actually says too much. That’s more than icing on the cake, that’s a whole other cake.

After Martin Bashir’s appearance and revelation of employment with MSNBC, what was said? What was done? Not a thing! And that’s the icing for that second cake.

This whole Martin Bashir story/situation you just read may have occurred that way because he did a job for someone, and got rewarded for it. It’s the same thing that occurs when members of government give favorable lawmaking to corporations and the next thing you know they’re an executive of that same corporation. But whatever the reason, it showed beyond a shadow of a doubt that the news media as a whole was set against Michael (conspiracy).

MJ, going on tour preaching peace, “they don’t care about us,” and more during US war-time/illegal occupation-time? MSNBC, and war-loving, war-creating, war-desiring members of government, corporations and the media have much to gain from his death. They should be suspects. And that “accusation” is backed and proven to be credible and pertinent by the everyday practices of US law enforcement, private investigators, courts, and the government.

Now, think back to the 80’s. Michael Jackson purchased a tiger, a monkey, and some other things; and was alleged to have purchased the Elephant Man’s bones. The media was all over this. But think about it, these are the normal purchases of a multimillionaire. Think of what rich and famous whites were purchasing during that same time (you probably can’t think of anything, because you weren’t told anything; so, go research). I dare the media to speak on similar purchases made by rich and famous whites during that same time.

If you had Michael’s money, wouldn’t you buy a monkey, or similar? Weren’t almost all blacks during that time constantly doing things outside of the box/unique? What would happen if you combined one of those people, those blacks, with millions of dollars? What if you combined the trait of being highly creative to that same person? Wouldn’t you get a person who purchased “weird things”? This is just one example of how almost everyone got seriously played by the media when it came to Michael. Most blacks included. “Wacko Jacko”?

So, what was so odd about Michael? You don’t know. (What is a Communist? People during the Communist scare didn’t even know.) Was it how gentle he was? Was it how child-like he was? Think about this: He was “Michael Jackson” –extremely popular, rich, and worshiped– from a childhood. This means his mind never had to take on real responsibilities like bills, house up-keep, car payments, etc. or the worries of the average man; meaning he didn’t have to grow up. Think about when you “grew up” and how. Well, he didn’t experience any of that. And when you combine that with not having a childhood but wanting one, what is produced is a childlike person. So, as usual, the media turned nothing into something.

It’s similar to how the media persuaded the country to impeach Bill Clinton, but didn’t do the same with Bush, and as a result Bush wasn’t impeached. In the normal person’s world, it was the people who chose; in the real world, the media got them, and members of government, to choose but didn’t do the same with Bush, so Bush wasn’t …. Was there character assassination when it came to Michael? There obviously was, and it was carried out by the media. If you knew where you lived, it would even be likely, to you, that his vitaligo was intentionally caused. Crazy? So is this place you live in.

This couldn’t have been done with Michael? Was this done with Michael? If you think back, it’s clear that it was. There were non-stop attacks his entire adult career … so many that Michael had to make a song where he was yelling “Leave me alone.”

“Embarrass, humiliate, challenge, or disrupt” are very similar to the words used in declassified COINTELPRO documents (COINTELPRO: counter intelligence program. “The purpose of this new counterintelligence endeavor is to expose, disrupt, misdirect, discredit, or otherwise neutralize the activities of black nationalist, hate-type organizations and groupings, their leadership, spokesmen, membership, and supporters, and to counter their propensity for violence and civil disorder.” The news media was their main tool.

Think back to the 80’s. Do you remember how popular MJ was? Wasn’t he the most popular man on the planet? Wasn’t he worldwide? Do you remember how fans would react to him? Based on the statements and actions made by the media, police, and government, Suge Knight had Tupac killed because he was leaving Suge Knight’s record label (Deathrow), and he was worth more to Suge Knight dead than alive.

If Suge Knight had Tupac killed for those reasons (as the media, police officers, and others have said); then Sony, it’s employee(s), owner(s), stockholders, board of directors, employer’s of the board of directors, or head of the “gentlemen group” any of these aforementioned people belong to wouldn’t have Michael killed? His death was caused by the injection of a drug at the hands of someone else (death caused by being drugged by someone else), and MJ, the person killed, had huge assets that were to be transferred upon death. If it’s ascertained that Jackson’s death was caused by Dr. Murray’s actions, AEG, as Murray’s employer, could face a potentially massive wrongful death lawsuit from Katherine Jackson.

Since the film’s confirmation, AEG Live has faced criticism; mostly consisting of claims that they had only made the film to make a profit. Multiple members of Jackson’s family had confirmed that they did not support the film and some family members went as far as to try to stop the film agreement in August.

In August 2009, a judge approved a deal between Jackson’s estate, concert promoter AEG Live, and Sony Pictures. The agreement allowed Sony to edit the hundreds of hours of rehearsal footage needed to create the film. Sony subsequently paid $50 million for the film rights.[6]

On March 5, 2009 at the O2 Arena, Jackson announced that he was to perform 10 concerts as part of a comeback.[10][11] Jackson suggested possible post-show retirement: “I just wanted to say that these will be my final show performances in London. When I say this is it, it really means this is it,”[12] although he may have just been referring to performing in London. On March 11, two days before pre-sale began, an extra 40 dates were added to meet high demand, bringing the number of shows to 50 — five of these dates were reserved in their entirety for the public sale.[13] Jackson’s 50 dates would make the concerts the longest residency at the arena. In May, 2009, the tour was originally set to have begun on July 8, 2009, and finished on March 6, 2010.[14] On May 20, 2009, it was announced that the first concert would be pushed back by eight days to July 16, and three other July dates would be rescheduled for March, 2010. AEG Live stated that the delay was necessary because more time was needed to prepare, mainly for dress rehearsals. The revised schedule called for 27 shows between July 16, and September 29, 2009, followed by a three month break, and resuming in 2010, with 23 more shows between January 7, and March 6, 2010.[14] The This Is It concert tour would have been Jackson’s first major performances and series of concerts since the HIStory World Tour that began in 1996 and finished in 1997.

On August 10, a Superior Court Judge officially approved the deal between Columbia Pictures (film distributor) and AEG Live (the concerts promoter) for Columbia to be able to purchase and distribute rehearsal footage of Jackson and the rehearsal crew for the film.[23][24] The deal also included a merchandising agreement with Bravado International Group – the company is a division of Universal Music Group that is owned by Vivendi – so that they can distribute and sell “Jackson-themed products”.

 

Marketing

On September 9, the film’s official theatrical movie poster was released. On September 10, 2009, it was reported that MTV‘s Video Music Awards‘s, which at the time had already announced that they would honor Jackson at the show would premiere the film’s first, and only known, trailer.[28] The trailer premiered, as scheduled, right before the end of the VMAs show.[29] The show was watched by a total of 9 million people; a 17% increase over 2008’s show and the biggest ratings since the 2004 award show.[30

 

Controversies

Tim Leiweke, the president of AEG, stated that he hoped that the film would give fans some peace of mind that as a company, Jackson’s ‘legacy’ and well being was always a priority and the fact that people had thought otherwise had really “hurt” people at AEG.[77] Leiweke stated,

“Some of the things that people have said about us, which are so untrue, this movie’s going to restore his legacy, and prove that we, in fact, gave Michael a second chance here. And an opportunity to make the kind of comeback he was dreaming of. And that we created an environment for him that was probably the best environment that the guy had the last 10 or 15 years of his life. And I’m very proud of the way we treated Michael, and very proud of the partnership that we had with him. And this movie is an opportunity to celebrate that, and we could get past all of the gossip and all of the innuendo.”[77]

Sony Pictures to produce Michael Jackson film

The deal was negotiated last month by Sony Pictures and its sibling unit, Sony Music Entertainment, with the Michael Jackson Estate and AEG Live, producer of the late singer’s planned London concert series.

Although several studios expressed interest, Sony emerged the winner by agreeing to pay Jackson’s estate and AEG Live at least $60 million for the film rights.

As part of the deal, Sony will deduct the cost of making the movie from the $60-million minimum. After covering its costs for distribution and marketing, it then will split the rest of the film’s revenue with the Jackson Estate and AEG via a complex formula that was redacted from a copy of the agreement filed in court.

Along with the rehearsal and behind-the-scenes footage, Sony obtained the rights to include some 3-D sequences that were going to be shown on video screens during the “This Is It” concerts.

AEG also tried to sell the rights to a television special for $20 million but wasn’t able to reach a deal with any network.

All the tickets allotted during yesterday’s presale, roughly 360,000 of them according to MichaelJacksonLive, sold out yesterday, and the tickets that go on sale to the public tomorrow will likely do the same.

“The figures speak for themselves 360,000 tickets sold in 18 hours during the pre sale so far, that is 20,000 tickets per hour, 33 tickets per minute!” Demand was so great for the Jackson shows, Ticketmaster was struck with technical problems due to the high traffic. Among the records This Is It! has broken: The biggest audience ever to see an artist in one city, the most amount of people to attend a series of arena shows and fastest ticket sales in history.

***NOTE: More concert dates meant more ticket sales, which meant that so called lose of revenue didn’t exist. Example: If you start with 10 shows, then sale tickets for 40 shows, then refund half of those 40 shows, you’ll have profits of 20 shows – more than you initially started with. The event included security and logistical support by the City of Los Angeles totaling $4 million. City Council members and local media have called for the cost of the memorial incurred by the City to be paid for by the Jackson family and/or AEG, instead of the city taxpayer.

AEG has also been accused of attempting to profit from the death of Michael Jackson, who was due to perform at London’s O2 Arena in 2009/2010. While refunds of the approximately 750,000 tickets (at £55–£75 each plus £9 booking fee per ticket) are available to customers that request it, the promoter has offered to send out “souvenir” tickets providing fans of the singer waive their right to the refund.[19]

The company estimates that between 40–50% of its customers will request the original tickets in lieu of the refund, which will save the company $40 million in refunds. This is in addition to future profits from any material that forms a part of the “This Is It” concerts – the intellectual property of AEG.[20]

In May 2003 New York Attorney General Eliot Spitzer reached a settlement with Anschutz after he was found guilty of accepting IPO shares from Salomon Smith Barney in exchange for his firm, Qwest’s, investment banking business. He was given $4.4 million penalty. According to the New York Daily News, Anschutz made payments of $100,000 to the New York branches of 32 nonprofits and $200,000 each to six law schools as a penalty.[6] The payment was roughly equal to his profit from the practice of IPO “spinning”, thus he actually suffered no penalty.

In February 2006, the group became 100% owned by French media conglomerate Vivendi SA when Vivendi purchased the last 20% from Matsushita, the group’s sole owner from 1990 to 1995 and co-owner from 1995 to 2006. On June 25, 2007, Vivendi completed its €1.63 billion ($2.4 billion) purchase of BMG Music Publishing, after receiving European Union regulatory approval, having announced the acquisition on September 6, 2006.[3][4]

2010s & EMI purchase

Doug Morris stepped down from his position as CEO on January 1, 2011. Former Chairman/CEO of Universal Music International Lucian Grainge was promoted to CEO of the company. Grainge later replaced him as chairman on March 9, 2011.[5] Morris became the next chairman of Sony Music Entertainment on July 1, 2011.[6]

Vivendi Universal Entertainment was created in December 2000 with the merger of the Vivendi media empire with Canal+ television networks and the acquisition of Universal Studios from Canadian company Seagram.
